Entertainment & Nightlife in Estonia

There are nightclubs in Estonia that play live band music. The nightlife witnesses a large number of young crowds in Estonia grooving to the music.

Tallinn is used to entertaining day-trippers from Finland and has a wide range of restaurants, cafés and bars. There is also an opera and ballet theatre. For a town its size, Tallinn has a suspiciously high number of bars and nightclubs. But for foreign visitors, this just means there’s more variety on offer.

Tartu has a respectable variety of pubs and clubs for a town its size, and quite a few of them exhibit a kind of creative daring that you won’t find in Estonia’s capital.

Tallinn

Tallinn is a favoured city break getaway for people all over Europe, especially Finns who come for the cheap alcohol and Brits who have been coming in ever growing numbers on stag and hen nights. There is a wide range of restaurants, cafés and cosy bars, as well as livelier nightclubs that sometimes feature live bands. Socialising is at its most active Thursday-Saturday nights, between 11 pm-3 am.

There are no shortages of nightclubs and discos in Tallinn. Rock Cafe, BonBon, Bonnie & Clyde, Café Amigo, Hollywood, and Moskva are good bets for those who love to dance their feet off. Sometimes dance parties are organised by big banners such as the Vibe and Mutant Disco. Vibe has got a nightclub at Harju. Many party animals get on high spirits with the music of the DJs. Karja Kelder, Nimeta Baar, Molly Mallone's and many more, are very popular pubs in Estonia.

For culture vultures in Tallinn, there is the Estonia National Opera, the Estonia Concert Hall, the Vanemuine Theatre, and for children, the Estonian Puppet Theatre.

Gamblers won't be disappointed either, as there are various outlets to take in a show and play some Black Jack, including Reval Park Hotel & Casino, Admiral Casino, and Bally's Casino.
